This was the inaugural MEC Fall Classic, an opportunity for people to get involved in a 5k or 10k at their local MEC (not all MEC’s participated, but many did). The low fee is set to get lower with more participation, but the price was still amazing. One water station halfway through, a decent (though a bit hilly) out-and-back course, great marshalling by enthusiastic people, and a bottle of water and granola bar at the end. This race is bare bones (no race T, medal or race kit, not even chip timed), but it was a fun run and a great, inexpensive way for people to get introduced to racing.

Cost: $15
