I was out at the 9 Run Run in Stittsville on Saturday and had a great time supporting DIFD. The Ottawa Emergency Services were out in full force and did well in the race and on the course. My hat’s off to those men and women!

The course is a bit hilly, but nothing drastic, and with about 6k on the Trans-Canada trail, it’s both beautiful and unique. You’ll get a good bang-for-your-buck at this race: a great medal, shirt, and a BBQ as well. There’s lots of things that make this race unique – from the Canadian flag hanging from two ladder trucks at the start line to the Chief’s Chili Cookoff. You’re sure to enjoy this fall half marathon from beginning to end.

Cost: $80 (I think? – I’ll confirm)
