Polar Bear Run – Lake Winnipeg

I’m heading to Winnipeg for the annual Polar Bear Run that goes across the world’s 13th largest lake. In the words of its founder, Jeff Badger, “This race is a one-of-a-kind, 30k straight shot across frozen-over, big-as-an-ocean Lake Winnipeg.”

I’ll be participating as a “dual-crosser” – heading out and back over the giant lake. An ultra in extreme conditions over a white ocean. Sounds like fun.
