I’m heading to Winnipeg for the annual Polar Bear Run that goes across the world’s 13th largest lake. In the words of its founder, Jeff Badger, “This race is a one-of-a-kind, 30k straight shot across frozen-over, big-as-an-ocean Lake Winnipeg.”
I’ll be participating as a “dual-crosser” – heading out and back over the giant lake. An ultra in extreme conditions over a white ocean. Sounds like fun.
The video report will be up shortly after I return, and you’ll get all the details then!
