I wore some new shoes – Brooks STI racers that I picked up at Runner’s Den. They were great! I’ll do a full review later, but suffice it to say that I’ll be wearing them on race day.

With only a week and a half before the marathon I’m feeling ready and getting excited. I plan to at least start with the 3:15 crew, though I’m not sure I’ll be able to tough it out for the long haul.

Tip for today: change up your shoes. I have three pairs that I rotate now, running five times a week. If you’re running more than three times a week, consider getting another pair of shoes to rotate into the mix. Not only will it save your shoes, it may help prevent some unwanted injuries.
